  • Represented a multinational company from the fertilizer sector in an ICC arbitration dispute. The US$ 150 million dispute has arisen out of the alleged Sellers’ breach of reps and warranties in an M&A transaction.
  • Represented a Brazilian financial institution in an arbitration dispute under the ICC Rules of Arbitration against securitization companies and an American financial institution against securitization companies and an American financial institution. The dispute arose out of contracts for the assignment of a portfolio of distressed loans.
  • Represented a construction company in an arbitration dispute against a real estate developer. The dispute was related to the performance of a cost plus fee contract with guaranteed maximum price for the construction of residential buildings. The owner claimed that the constructor breached the contract due to delays in the works, while the constructor requests the payment of amounts exceeding the guaranteed maximum price.
  • Represented an energy provider in an arbitration proceeding set up to decide a dispute regarding the termination of a power purchase agreement and the resulting penalties of R$ 250 million.
  • Represented a construction company against large Oil & Gas company in an arbitral proceeding arising out of a lump sum construction contract.
